Heavenly Father called our mother home Friday, August 3, 2012, in the morning, after a heroic battle with cancer at the age of 73. She was born December 1, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Edward and Marjorie Agnes Firman Crotch.
Marion loved music, especially piano, travel, her family and friends, playing games, and her LDS faith. She was a true friend and provided tireless service to her community, including several years serving as Relief Society President. Marion was brave and strong and we will miss her every day.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands (Shelley and Joseph Hannon and Melanie and Amit Agrawal), two grandchildren (Adam Almager and Katie Hannon), and three sisters (Brenda Metcalf, Christine Brown, and Nancy Manning).
She was preceded in death by her father, mother and infant twin sister.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View 3rd Ward, 1889 South 1700 East, Salt Lake City, UT, 84108. Family visitation will be at 10:00 a.m.
Friends may call Wednesay, August 8th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT, 84111.
Interment will be at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
