Milo James Collett Obituary
1927 ~ 2017
Milo "Mike" Collett returned home on December 29, 2017, surrounded by his family who loves him dearly. Born and raised in Sandy, he attended Murray HS and left early to serve in the Coast Guard in WWII. Milo was a regional manager in the mining and drilling industry, moving many times before returning to Sandy. A voracious appetite to learn, his sense of humor, plus his ability to make others feel both welcome and appreciated were his most admirable qualities. He was a hard-working, tenacious, opinionated, funny, talkative-storyteller, who was very creative. He loved his family with his heart and soul, and had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his beloved wives Eunice Alderfer and Evelyn White, and is survived by his daughters Jolene James, Robyn Harris, Alyson Garrett, Carolyn Curran,14 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He had 4 sisters and 4 brothers; children of Clarence Collett and Margaret Watkins. A memorial service will be held Sat Jan 6th, at Mt Jordan 6th Ward on 9331 S 300 E, Sandy 84070, 11:00 am.
