Obituary Condolences

Milton Leroy Adair "Loving Father" Milton Leroy Adair, 88, died Aug. 17, 2009 in Peoria, Arizona.Born Dec. 24, 1920 in Mesa, AZ to Alfred C. and Helena Hille Adair. He married Dorothy Jean Spens Nov. 10, 1944. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa, AZ Temple. Milton served his country as a Navy pilot during World War II until an injury ended his career. He enjoyed cars and most of his working years involved his service station and auto repair business. When he retired, he had been a AAA contractor longer than anyone else in the Salt Lake area. Dad was fortunate to live with his son Jim in Arizona and his son Scott and his family in Utah for several years. He drove back and forth as a "snowbird" as he would tell anyone who would listen. Survived by daughter Kathryn Marshall, sons James (Jungyum) and Scott (Kathy), brother Charles (Jeanine), granddaughter Nicole Adair, grandsons Brad Marshall and Ian Adair, three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. Preceded in death by his wife, infant daughter Susan, parents, brothers Al, Norman, Leonard and sister La Preal. Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at Jenkins-Soffe mortuary, 4760 South State Street at 10 a.m. Viewings will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service.
