Nathan T. Evans Obituary
1983 ~ 2012
Nathan Tyler Evans was born December 4, 1983, the last son of Gerald Clayton and Rebecca Bernards Evans. After a long struggle Nate's bright light finally dimmed in a chaotic world on November 9, 2012. Nathan's work ethic developed early through his scouting, explorer firefighting, and his employment which included; Gold Cross Ambulance as an EMT, Oxy-health Hyperbarics as an operator-diver, and with the U.S Navy Reserve as a Corpsman with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines, 4th MARDIV. He enjoyed his friends and brothers while paintballing and being in the outdoors. He was an example and appreciated by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother. He married Catherine Eaton on March 10, 2002, sealed April 12, 2003 in the Bountiful Temple, and later divorced. He learned to serve through watching his surviving parents & siblings; David (Sarah) Evans, Melissa (TJ) Wallace, Stephen (Darcie) Evans, Deborah (David) Iskow, Daniel (Christy) Evans, Andrea (Shane) Brown, Natalie (Brian) Jensen, and many nieces & nephews. He loved them all but top of the list were his own children; James for his love of books, Bridget for her spontaneous humor, and Brody with his "Big Brody Hugs". He would want each of his children to know of his great love for them and to remember the many good times they shared together.
The funeral will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Granger West 9th Ward, 4460 W. Cortney Drive (2925 S.)
