Norma Hawker Obituary
Norma passed away Saturday 31 Aug 2013 in Enoch, UT. She was born 7 Sept 1930 in Murray, UT. Parents were Heber Emery & Birdella Lloyd. She was blessed with one sister, Marjorie. Norma married Douglas R. Hawker 24 June 1949. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple 21 March 1970. They had 3 precious children.
Norma was very shy, but had a glorious musical talent. She began the accordion at a young age and later learned piano & organ. She held many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Norma graduated from Jordan HS. She led her daughters in a 4-H Club for 8 years. She was a secretary for various companies and loved shorthand and typing. She also enjoyed DUP.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents and 1 great-granddaughter. Surviving are her husband, her sister, children: Deanna (Jay) Larson, Lehi; Carolyn (Mike) Olenslager, Enoch; Douglas Lloyd Hawker (Cynthia), St. George. She has 14 grand-children, 43 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Three Peaks Ward in Enoch, UT - visiting from 6-8pm Thursday 9/5/13, visiting 10-10:45am on Friday with memorial services at 11:00am. Funeral Service will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT Saturday 9-7-13 viewing 9-10:45am and services at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
