1962 ~ 2013|
Rialeen Berry Peck, our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and soon-to-be grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father at the age of 51 on Saturday, October 5, 2013. She was born May 18, 1962 to Rial & Laurel Berry.
She married her high school sweetheart, Cole Peck, on March 19, 1982 in the Salt Lake temple. Together they brought 5 wonderful children into this world; Alexa, Cole, Matie, Morgan, and Jade.
Rialeen was born and raised in Lehi, Utah. She spent her life caring for her children and working out of her home as the secretary for Cole & Rialeen's business. Rialeen loved spending time with her family and always made them a priority. She enjoyed riding bikes, reading, exercising, hiking, riding snowmobiles, camping, and homemaking. Rialeen was very reserved and never liked to be the center of attention, but when you got to know her she was truly a remarkable woman. Many people will miss her.
In life Rialeen was always an example of selfless love, service, and charity. She was a great friend to many and treasured those relationships. She loved serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in any calling, but most of all loved working with the children in the Primary.
After a two year battle with pancreatic cancer, Rialeen passed her test and was welcomed into Heaven by a brother, Rial Kent Berry, son Cole, daughter Alexa, and sister-in-law Lari Peck Downs.
Rialeen is survived by her husband Cole, daughters: Matie (Cameron) Cook; Morgan (Shane) Hill; and Jade (Cameron) Rodabough. She is also survived by her parents Rial and Laurel Berry; her sisters Leslie (Neal) Colledge and Collette (Shane) Smith; her brother Todd (Sheri Parrish) Berry; and her in-laws Tony and Janice Peck and family.
Funeral services for Rialeen will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the L.D.S. North Stake Center at 2178 North 1200 East in Lehi. There will be a viewing on Wednesday evening, October 9, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the North Stake Center, as well as from 9-10:30 a.m. on Thursday prior to services. Interment will be at the Lehi Cemetery following the services. Online guest book at www.wingmortuary.com.
The family would like to express their thanks to all of the family, friends, and ward members who have been so great to support them in the last two years. A special thanks goes to her hospice nurses.
In lieu of flowers, Rialeen expressed the desire to have a contribution made to the Primary Children's Hospital or another child's charity. An account has been set up at Bank of American Fork for that purpose. If you would like to contribute there, the account is set up as Rialeen's Fund for Charity.
