Ron and Madge were married on August 8, 1961 in Ogden and moved to Bountiful in 1967 where they raised their three daughters. She was a member of the LDS Church having served in the Young Women's Organization.
Madge had many talents, most notably her unmatched abilities in quilting, appliqué and knitting. Her infant layette sets have warmed the lives of countless children. Madge shared her talents and abilities with many people during the years while working at Brook's Fabrics. She was especially fond of her friends in the Bear Lake Quilting Guild. Her family will miss her fabulous meals. She was a loyal friend to many and her grandkids' biggest fan. Madge was known for her wicked sense of humor and an infectious laugh.
She is survived by her husband Ron; three daughters, Shelly, Allison, and Roni; her five grandchildren, Charley, Abby, Madi, Izzy and Miles; sisters, Jerry (Charles) Lindquist, North Ogden; Shirley Harbertson, Bountiful; brother-in-law Thair H. Blackburn, South Ogden; and mother-in-law, Irene Drake Parker, Ogden. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Wendy, and her sister Joanne Blackburn.
