Frank James Rigler "Rig" passed away July 17, 2014 in Sandy, UT. He was born October 17, 1918 in Magna, UT to Andrew and Albina Novak Rigler, 1 of 13 children. He married Elaine Hysell March 13, 1954; she passed away June 9, 2005. Rig graduated from Cyprus High School and served in the US Army during WWII. He was a very talented carpenter, and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 184 for 73 years. He loved hunting, fishing, basketball, trips to Wendover, and especially his family. He is survived by his children, Frankie Jean Arias, John, Ray (Leslie), and Gary (Jeri); 13 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren; brother, Carl Rigler; many nieces & nephews; and dog companion, Queen. Preceded in death by his wife of 51 ½ years, Elaine; daughter, Darlene Shell; and 11 siblings.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 W. 3500 S., Magna, UT. A viewing will be held Tuesday 9:30-10:45 a.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
