Kathy has been a steady and loving friend for all the years I have known her. I love her bright and positive attitude, in fact I don't think I have ever been with her that she hasn't been happy. Her positive attitude was contagious and inspiring.
It broke my heart today when I was checking on her funeral and I discovered at 1pm today (Mon 10/5) that her funeral had been at 11am. I had a good cry.
To Doug and all of her children and grandchildren, she loved you and she expressed that every time I was with her.
She was a special lady and will be missed.

I didn't know Kathy as well as many of you, but she touched my heart right away. I enjoyed emailing back and forth with her re: the Lunch bunch. I feel privleged to know her. May God grant you comfort in this sad time, but also help you rejoice for such a great life she lived.

Kathy is possessed of a golden heart, a gift for writing prize-winning poetry, the ability to create wonderful cuisine of many types, and countless other amazing attributes. One of her talents is gathering groups of people together and instantly providing a warm, welcoming environment in which they can all socialize. Kathy will live forever in my heart. She is a dear and valued friend, and I look forward to being with her again one day in the eternities. It couldn't possibly be heaven without her!

wow, my sweet cousin Kathy... So many wonderful memories. You were always smiling, always a kind word, always asked how everyone was doing. You were the one that organized our family lunches these last few years, hopefully we will continue these and share memories of you. I remember being babysat by you and Doug once when my parents were out of town and of course all the times I babysat your kids when you lived in Sandy. You are having quite the reunion in heaven. Give my dad a big kiss from his red on the head and rest in peace my sweet.....love for always, Stacy Jo❤

My sister Kathy will be missed by so many people. She had such a light surrounding her. It is true, "Only The Good Die Young".
Rest in peace Kathy. You are out of pain and in your perfect form. I will miss you my sweet sister.

Kathy was a dear friend. She was one of the first ladies I met when I moved into Stonehaven over 6 years ago. She was always so sweet and kind to me. Her family are so friendly to me also. I will really miss Kathy's sweet smile and her fun e-mails that she always sent me. What a better place she is in now with no pain and with all of her family and friends that have gone before, what a reunion. I love you Kathy and will think of you often. Love, Michele Hendrickson
