SHAWN SEARS

Shawn Sears 9/13/1977 ~ 5/12/2010 Shawn Lucien Sears, beloved son and brother, passed away May 12, 2010 after a short illness. Shawn loved his family and friends and is tenderly remembered by parents George and Gale, sister Chandler, his aunt Nola, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Shawn was a genius with computers and technology and graciously served others with his computer skills. He loved his job at Sorenson Communications working in tech support which benefited the hearing impaired. Shawn had a kind and generous soul and was loved by everyone he came in contact with. He had a tender sweet spirit for all children and animals. He loved life; he surrounded himself with books, music, movies and all things gaming, with anything that would further enlighten him. He loved the ocean and the out-of-doors. Hiking in the mountains, golfing, and especially Frisbee golf were some of his favorite activities. He was an Eagle Scout. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be missed by all. Services will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the Alta View Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1950 East Visconti Drive (8600 South), Sandy, UT. There will be a viewing at the same location starting at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family would suggest donations to the Perpetual Education Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery.
