Obituary Condolences

Dorothy Reed Rushton 1920 ~ 2010 Dorothy passed away peacefully incident to age on July 9, 2010. She was surrounded by a large family that loved her and died in the arms of her son. She was born March 20, 1920 in Lark, Utah to Henry Reed and Caroline Rindlisbacher Reed. She graduated from Bingham High School and also lived in Mesa, Arizona. She loved history, reading, and had a passion for learning. She enjoyed the outdoors and being active. She loved dancing, traveling having the opportunity to visit several countries and go on many trips with her family, but she enjoyed most being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her crowning accomplishment is her family. Her greatest quality was loving people, and they loved her in return. She had a fun spirit, a sense of humor, and gentle sweetness that drew people to her. She was an active member of the LDS church. She endured patiently to the end through many trials and hardships, and has gained her reward. She is survived by her children Sandra (Stewart) Glazier and Russell (Debbie) Rushton; brother Kenten Reed; 14 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and a large extended family. Preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crescent 8th Ward; 2080 E. Pinecrest Lane (11530 S.) Friends and family may call one hour prior to service. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
