DEBRA BOWERS Obituary
Debra Raylyn Bowers 1953 ~ 2011 On the beautiful winter morning of February 11, 2011, our sweet Debbie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born April 9, 1953, and spent her childhood in Tooele, Utah. On June 25, 1971 she married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Steve Bowers. They enjoyed almost 40 years of marriage, and welcomed two children into the world. They raised their family in Orem, Utah where Debbie was a stay at home mom. Family meant everything to Debbie. She dedicated her whole life to her husband and children. Debbie has a sweet spirit. She adored children and animals, and they were drawn to her as well. She is adored by her two granddaughters. She loved being outdoors, especially in the fall. We will miss our annual drive in the canyon to collect fall leaves, and our picnics in the mountains. Debbie is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is loved, and will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, who she has deeply missed for many years. We find comfort that they have now been reunited. She is survived by her husband, Steve, children, Steven (Laura) and Pamela, grandchildren, Vanessa and Isabella, sister Cheryl, brother Bob, Good friend, Harry, beloved dog, Cutter, and many other close friends and family members. We love you Debbie, and we will see you again soon! Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2011, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset Heights 5th Ward, 600 South 1100 West, Orem Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2011, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the church, prior to the services. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery.
