Dear Strong Family,
And indeed you have been strengthened to endure this sorrow because of our Savior Jesus Christ. Having lost our 19 yr old daughter 7 yrs ago, we have an idea of your loss. How blessed we are for the plan of salvation made possible by our Savior. Heavenly Father IS watching over your Son. I know He will be with you. We know my daughter wanted to serve a mission early, so she was called to the important work across the veil.God shall wipe away all tears. May you continue to feel His love!

Debbie and family,
My thoughts and prayers have been with your family ever since I heard the news. Just yesterday I learned that the sweet missionary I had been praying for was your son. I love you and I am so sorry. If I can help in any way please let me know. May God continue to bless you and comfort you as he did while your sons were serving. May angels attend you both earthly and Heavenly through your journey in this life and back to your Heavenly home. XOXO <3

Dear Strong Family,
As a teacher at Kearns High School, though I never taught Trevor and Scott, I knew that they were exemplary young men because of their good works and righteous examples while attending Kearns High School. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this extremely difficult time. May your family be comforted by the Holy Spirit and your testimonies of our Savior's atonement.

Dear Strong Family,
Words cannot express how sad we are for your loss. Although we never met Trevor, we can see by his example that he loved the Lord and serve Him by serving others sharing his testimony and building the kingdom, as we know he is still doing now in his new assignment. Trevor and his companion were killed on our daughter Brynn's 25th birthday, and we feel your pain as she was tragically taken from us in a similar hit and run bicycle accident on June 7th of this year. May your entire family be comforted by the Holy Spirit and the healing power of the Savior's atonement! Jeff Barton Family [email protected]

My condolences to the Strong Family. We remember elder Strong standing every Sunday at the door opening and welcoming the members that were coming to church on Sunday. How could we forget the tall elder well dressed with his suit, who always had a smile on his face. The Sanchez family remembers him very well; you can tell he loved to share the gospel. He will be remembered always from all those who knew him here in South Texas, as a servant of the Lord. May the Lord bless the Strong family from the Sanchez family.

To the Family of Elder Strong,
With heavy hearts, we send our love and blessings to such a SPECIAL family. He is a noble righeous WARRIOR! For reasons beyond our understanding, he was called home. He has gone to a higher calling where he is NEEDED! Perhaps he knew "something" when he asked permission to extend his calling. Such a SPECIAL young man. We want you, as his family, to know you are loved so VERY MUCH! Our thoughts will be upon you during the proceedings of his services. May the Lord bless and comfort you as you go through these hard times. With all our Love, The Batemans

Dear Strong Family,
My son is Elder Eric Porter. He is serving in McAllen in Mercedes and worked often with your son. He spoke very highly of Elder Strong and what a shining example he was to everyone. I know his heart is aching as is ours. I know that the Lord will bless you and wrap his comforting arms around you. We hope to be able to speak with you at the funeral. Our prayers are with you and all of the other missionary families. The great work that your son was doing will continue on the other side. It was obvious that he loved his mission and will continue to serve as a missionary. I am sure that his influence will be felt amongst your family as well as all of the missionaries in the McAllen, Texas mission. May the Lord bless you and give you peace.

Elders Strong and Walker would visit our home. It was great to have some contact with the Church. I really appreciated the visits we had. One night as they left I told them that it would be easy to remember their names. They were Walk Strong. I saw them leave and that phrase stayed in my mind. There are not enough words that can express the loss of a young missionary, a son. This morning I wrote this for the two elders we loss. It comes from the heart. Thank you for sending your son to be with us. Elder Strong was a good missionary.
WALK STRONG
Ring the bells
Call his name
Announce that
God is King.
Invite all to his
open arms.
Proclaim his
great love.
Exhort them to
walk strong.
Walk strong
down your path.
Walk strong
toward God's light.
Walk strong
faith in hand.
God calls us
one by one.
To do his work
to call his name.
God invites
all to come
unto him,
unto his love.
With open arms
he waits.
Walk strong
down your path.
Walk strong
toward God's light.
Walk strong
faith in hand.
One day,
God will call us
home.
Home
beyond the night
stars.
Home where
all is eternal,
and greet us
us with open arms.
Walk strong
down your path.
Walk strong
toward God's light.
Walk strong
faith in hand.

Our family shares your deep sorrow for the loss of your beautiful son. We have been so heartened with the expressions of deep and living faith that you have shared. We also know that his mission was extended and that he is happy with the Lord. Elder Zachary Harris is our grandson, the e-mail he wrote the day before the accident was so complimentary of your son. He said he learned more from him than from any other trainer even though he had only been his companion for a week. I do not know if you will meet them, but a representative from our family will be representing Elder Harris at Elder Strong's services. May the Comforter be your constant companion.
