Bob,
Dianne and I just heard about Vi's passing from Richard Hammond. We LOVED Vi and you and will always remember your happy faces - especially during our trips with the choir (one of my favorite pictures is of you and me choking each other outside the airport in New Zealand while waiting for the fog to lift so we could get to Christchurch. God bless you brother... till we meet again. Todd & Dianne Morris

Dear Bob and Family, You have always been like family to us growing up as a very close neighborhood we all did so much together. Us kids had the best times growning up because of the closeness we all shared in everything. Our kids have talked about the fun swimming day's at your home. We love you all and will miss Vy very much.
I think her and my mother Betty have alot of catching up to do.
Our thought and prays go out to you all.

Vy was a dear friend in the Tabernacle Choir and I will always remember her fondly. She was devoted to everything she participated in. I will miss her beautiful smile!

The Emeritus Ladies of the Tabernacle Choir will remember Vy as one of our deceased members at our annual luncheon. Vy was one of our callers for several years for our luncheons. As a First Alto, I enjoyed Vy as one of our section leaders. I have spent pleasant times in her home.

May she sing with the Choirs above!

I remember going to Christmas breakfasts at the Morris' home. I spent time practicing singing for a quartet in their home. But most of all I remember what a wonderful person Vi was. What a sweet lady. Our condolences to the family.

Dear Bob and family: I can hardly find the words to tell you of my love and feelings for Vy and all of you. As the two youngest grandchildren of Grandma Jeannette in a large family, Vy and I were always close at family parties, reunions, and at school. I remember spending a lot of time at her home when we were growing up. No matter how long we would go sometimes as we both traveled the world and not see each other, that bond was always there and Vy would always be so loving and kind to me when we could be together. We also worked together in the Jordan River Temple as Ordinance Workers the past few years. When I was hurt, she would visit me and be so kind and concerned. I so enjoyed our family get togethers and visits on the telephone. I loved to hear about your adventures with the Choir and as CES missionaries to Tonga and Samoa. Vy was always kind and loving with everyone and I learned to love you, too, Bob because you were like her that way. I am absolutely heartbroken as I try to convey my love and concern for you as you deal with this in your life. She was always devoted to you and your family. She will be so missed by you and all of us. It is hard to be without your other half when you have done so much together and for so many years. I truly wish I could help in some way to ease the pain and to help you get through this difficult time. My love and prayers are with you and your family always. God Bless! With much love, Claudia - [email protected]

Sorry to learn of Vi's passing. Wonderful memories of her during our Tabernacle Choir days. I didn't know of your time in Tonga and Samoa, another common thread for us as I was a missionary to Samoa. What a treat to know you two served in Pesega. All the best to you and your family. It's always hard to loose a loved one but especially difficult around the holidays. I know. That's when my wife died 4 years ago. Much love and Lord's blessings to you.

Vy was one of the first to welcome me as a member of the Tabernacle Choir in 1986 and was a good friend. She will be missed.
