Kristine Komm Stevenson Obituary
May 25, 1971 ~ Oct. 27, 2012
Kristine Komm Stevenson, 41, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27th, 2012 in Spokane, WA after a very brave and inspiring 10 year battle with advanced breast cancer. Kristine was born in Van Nuys, CA to Gary and Arlene Komm, who now also reside in Spokane. Kristine married Greg Stevenson for time and eternity in 1997 and they have a beloved daughter, Katherine Faith.
Kristine graduated from American Fork HS and Brigham Young University, both located in Utah, and served as a missionary in Germany for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has touched, and improved the lives of so many through her love of life and of teaching in various church callings as well as in piano, voice, violin, sewing and decorating. Most of all she loved being a mom! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kristine is survived by her husband, Greg, and their daughter, Katherine Faith, as well as her parents, Gary and Arlene Komm; her brother, Brian Komm with his wife, Alison and their five children; her sister, Leslie (Komm) Egan with her husband, Mike and their four children; her sister, Kimberly (Komm) Rippy with her husband, Dustin and their five children; and her brother, Jason Komm. In addition, Kristine is dearly remembered by Greg's parents, Sharm and Mardy Stevenson, of Layton, UT, and one sister, three brothers and their families who loved her as an elite lady.
Kristine's funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3rd, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Spokane North Stake Center/Chapel located at 401 W.
