Dear Bishop Jackson & Family,
It has been many years since I have been able to see any of you good people. I have such pleasant memories of you and Nona Bee and your children. I remember Harvey, Jimmy & Ruth the best. I was the contractor who built your wardhouse in Hanksville. How I would like to go back and relive some of those experiences. I ran into you, Bishop, one night at the Jordan River Temple, and told you who I was, and I don't think it registered with you. I remember, fondly, Nona Bee, and how industries she was, tending the store, and raising her children. She had the stamina of several people poured into one body. It didn't seem like she ever tired. I feel you are fortunate to have her as your eternal companion. How different life would be if everyone could experience a "Hanksville" in their life. More friendly, honest people do not exist. Thanks to you and your family for wonderful memories. May you find the peace you all deserve.

To the Jackson Family: What a wonderful woman. Nona's quiet ways were and are a driving influence for her family and many others. I loved visiting with her when I lived in West Jordan. She was always so sweet and taught me a lot of interesting things. Nona Jackson and Joy Jewkes are two of my heroes and I will never forget their smiles and the examples they set for us. Please know of my love and prayers for peace for you and your family.

Hi cousins and "Uncle", I am sending mom and my love to you. I wish I could come too. It is a tender thing to say so long to a parent, I am still adjusting to having to say it to Dad in Feb. Thank goodness we have the comforter and the gospel to help. Hug your dad for me and know how much your mom and dad have always made all of us extended family feel loved, a great legacy!

I will sure miss my dear sweet Aunt Nona Bee. She always had a smile and a hug for you. I know that my mom was so happy to see her again. I have no doubt that the reunion was great. I am so grateful for the gospel at times like this. I love you Uncle Bernes and your family as well. I have so many precious memories of spending time with all of you. May the Lord bless you all with the peace and comfort that only he can give. My love and prayers are with you.
