Lynn Harold Hatton 77 passed away on February 5, 2013 peacefully in his sleep. Born April 8, 1935 in Fillmore, UT to Harold and Allie Hatton. Married Sharon Rowley. Later divorced. Married Doreen Lyons Parrish December 19, 1990.
Served in the Army and is a Korean War Veteran. Member of the LDS Church. Served a full time mission in the Buenos Aires, Argentina mission. Later served an Inner City Mission with Doreen at the Bishop's Storehouse in Murray, Utah. He was an avid outdoorsman whether it be camping, target shooting, fishing or rock hounding. He loved spending his summers exploring Alaska. He was always willing to help others and was a friend to all. He will be missed by all, including Rascal and Carmel.
Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jim Hatton.
Survived by his sons, Bryan, John, Kevin (Jodi) and six grandchildren. His wife Doreen, her children Melanie Commons (Terry), Stephanie Egbert Smylski (Robert), Allyson Hamilton (Cliff), Leslie Briggs (Hal), Jonathan Parrish (Allison), Mark Parrish (Cibele) and all their children. Sisters Betty Jo Dunnell (Fred), Carol Peterson (Larry), Sandy Hatton (Jim), Diane Stevenson (Mike).
A viewing will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at Broomhead Funeral Home 12590 S 2200 W Riverton from 6-8 pm. and Saturday, February 9, 2013 one hour prior at Walnut Hills 1st Ward. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 am at Walnut Hills 1st Ward, 5938 W 6200 S. Interment Fillmore City Cemetery 350 E 600 S at 4:00 pm. www.broomheadfuneralhome.com
