Dear Bonnie and family—our hearts and prayers go out to you. I'm very grateful for many treasured memories of Bob's kindness and genuine friendship to me and my family. Words seem inadequate to express my feelings for him. His voice lifted my heart each time I heard it and I fall short in expressing my sorrow for your loss. We are so thankful for our relationship with him and you both and send you our love.

To Bonnie and the entire Grow family, I wish to express my condolences and express my sadness at Bob's passing. He was a great neighbor for 28 years and a friend for almost 35 years. He often came our house on Lonsdale to visit while walking his dog or to pick up some leftover food from Valarie. We shared some camping experiences togeter and a few card games but most of all we shared friendship and just having a good time. Of course he did several plumbing jobs for us at our home on Lonsdale and did the last plumbing job I needed done on our new home in Lehi. I will miss his smile and laugh and friendship. He has set a great example to his family and others. His most important legacy is probably the time he has spent with his family which in the end is more valuable than earthly wealth. I hope as a family you will find peace in the fond memories you have of Bob and that they will sustain you through the days without him that lie ahead.

I just love Bob, and, of course, your whole family! It was so fun to see all your family pictures and Bob's video at the viewing tonight. I ran into our neighbor on Camino Court and he was telling me he will owe Bob forever for all the work he did on his backyard swimming pool over the years. Everybody loved Bob. He would always stop at my house when he was driving down the street and I was outside working in the yard. We mostly talked about our kids playing baseball. He was also was my mother-in-law's home teacher at the Coventry for years with Jim Jorgensen. The Stake Center parking lot was full tonight for his viewing. This is a great tribute to his life which he lived so humbly. The second tribute to his life is what a fine job he did of picking Bonnie for his mate and how he raised all five of you kids to be so caring of others always.....Love you all and I will certainly miss our chats in my yard.

I haven't seen Bob in at least 15 years, but not a year passes that my brother Brandon and I fail to talk about Bob and practice our favorite Bob quotes in our best Bob voices. We were lucky enough to play a lot of sports, but nothing was ever as fun as playing church softball - "can of corn Carambelas" - and volleyball with Bob. When we knew Bob was working his maintenance job at the church, we knew we had a place to play basketball - provided that we fed him for a few baskets of his own. As for the person still wondering who helped us take care of a lonely crab sandwhich at a regional church volleyball tournament in 1987? Well, dead men tell no tales. Till the next game Bob...

Happily we know we will all be together again in the future and there contiue to grow and be with Robert and the other family members. It's a blessing to have that knowledge of our life after this earthly death, and our being united with our families. Remember the fun times you had with Robert, the hunting fishing and all family activities you shared. This is just another step in our lifes journey.
