Robert R. 'Bud' Marshall
1932 ~ 2013
Robert R. 'Bud' Marshall was born August 1, 1932, Edgemont, UT to Thelma Maude Ivers and Renaldo Marshall.
He attended school in CA and Provo, UT. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He attended Brigham Young University before joining the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He completed degrees at Utah State University and the University of Utah while serving in the military. He retired from the Air Force in 1972 with the rank of Lt. Colonel.
He also worked for Sperry Univac (Unysis), Novell and CACI.
He married Cleo Cullimore, 11 June 1955 in Harlingen, TX. They were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
He is survived by his wife, sons, Rick (Jana), Scott (Kim), daughters, Kathy (Paul) and Julie (Gary), 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, brother Garry and step brother Richard.
Preceded in death by his parents and his step mother Antionette (Janet) Marshall.
Special thanks and appreciation to all the professionals at Utah Cancer Specialists, who so thoughtfully cared for Robert during his ten year battle with Mantel Cell Lymphoma. Also the wonderful caregivers at Curo Hospice Services.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16th 2013 at 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy.(10600 S). Viewing will be from 9:00-10:30 prior to the service. Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please donate to Utah Cancer Specialists at 3838 South 700 East, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106.
