Bruce Nalder Obituary
Bruce Nalder
1922 ~ 2013
Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away from natural causes. Bruce adored the two families that he raised during his first temple marriage to Gayle (deceased) of 30 years and second temple marriage to Jeannie (survivor) of 37 years.
He especially loved the times he spent with his grandchildren, doing the things he loved most; riding horses, boating, snowmobiling, trips to Lake Tahoe and other places. He was a passionate sports fan attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events, college football and Utah Jazz games. Bruce also loved spending time outdoors and served in many positions for the LDS Church. Bruce served his country as a Marine during WWII. He spent 25 years as a firefighter for the federal government. After retiring from the fire service, he owned and operated "Nalder's Sod Farm". While we will miss you Bruce, you left us memories that will keep smiles on our faces and bring warmth to our hearts for years to come.
A viewing will be held Monday, March 18th, between 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19th, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church located at 4350 South 1100 East, Millcreek, Utah, with a viewing 10-10:45 a.m., prior to services. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
