Ray Dee King was born in Roy, Utah to Emmett and Martha Larsen King. He was the youngest of six children. Ray loved his country and served as a Marine in the Korean war. In 1954 he met Marlene Ollerton King, was swept off his feet, and married her three weeks later. Together they raised five children. He had the best sense of humor, always had a smile on his face and joke to tell. Ray was an amazing father, Grandpa, friend and all around person. He will be missed dearly every day.
He leaves behind children Johnny (Bev), Debbie (Pat), Floyd, Kory (Jody), Sylvia (Toa) and "pick up son" Sam (Cindy); 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grand babies, and one sister Lorraine. Reunited with the love of his life Marlene, brothers, sister and parents.
Services will be held Thursday May 2, 11:00 a.m. at The Gathering Place Gardener Village 1100 W. 7800 S, West Jordan. Friends may all Thursday 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m., The Gathering Place. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park 4335 W 4100 S WVC.
