Linda Mae Butterfield Bingham Perkes|
1943 ~ 2013
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, left this earth on December 2, 2013 to be with her heavenly family. She was born May 4, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Rulon Butterfield and Mary Louise Brown Butterfield Moriarty.
Linda was full of spunk and lived life to the fullest. She was very caring and giving to all, especially her family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone that knew her and everyone she loved had a special nick name. Mom was an excellent cook and her recipes will remain her secret. She spent many hours planning birthday and Christmas gifts, searching through the catalogs to find just the right gifts. Mom was very talented at arranging beautiful silk flower arrangements. Her favorite vacation and relaxation place was Las Vegas. She loved Dad's antique cars. Linda was a prankster and had a funny sense of humor that touched us all. Mom loved her family deeply. Mom loved animals as much as people and treated her favorite ones as her children. Rest in peace Mom, we love you.
Mom leaves behind her loving husband of 44 years, Alvin Perkes; daughter, Jeanette Gillman (Lee); sons, Larry Bingham Jr. (Deanna), Terry Lynn Bingham (Tonya); grandchildren, Amber, Bradley, Alicia, Kristin, Justin, Kelly; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Brian Moriarty (Mary), Shawn Moriarty (Kelly). Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Louise Brown Butterfield Moriarty; father, Rulon Butterfield; two sisters, Nancylee Harris and Charlee Baarsma.
Memorial Services will be held to celebrate Linda's life on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 S State St. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
