Miriam Larsen

August 4, 1922 ~ December 3, 2013
Our beloved Miriam passed away at age 91.
She is preceded in death by her first husband of 34 years, William Devon Thomas, parents, brother and sister. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Robins Larsen; brother Robert G. Candland; children, Allan Thomas, Annette Henderson, Brooke (Cathy) Thomas, Tracie (Todd) Summerhays, Clifford Larsen and Cynthia Larsen. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.
Born and raised in Mt Pleasant Utah as a daughter of a prominent Rambouillet sheep rancher. She attended Snow College and LDS Business College. She loved to travel and organized our annual Thomas family vacations. She loved life and was an accomplished pianist and seamstress. In 1961 she helped found Thomas Insurance Agency which is still in operation today. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities including hostess at the Church Office Building and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Married Ray Robbins Larsen January. 27, 1997 and enjoyed many happy years and travel with Ray. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Ward Chapel at 2125 E. Evergreen Ave. (3435 S.) with a viewing one hour prior.
A viewing will also be held Friday, December 6th from 6-8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive.
