On December 9, 2013, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother passed away after a short illness due to cancer. He was surrounded by his family during this time and peacefully left this world.
Glen was born on July 1, 1932 in Manti, Utah to Theodore Glen McArther and Ella Vione McArthur. He grew up in the beautiful Sanpete Valley. He fulfilled an honorable mission to the Western States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He was married to Dorothy Tucker in the Manti Temple on December 16, 1955. He graduated as an Electronic Engineer from Utah State University. Glen and Dorothy were blessed with three sons and three daughters. Robert McArthur, Camille (Doug) Jessop, Jacqueline (Ken) Romney, Kaylene (Eric) Parkinson, Mark (Angela) McArthur, and Matthew Layne McArthur.
Survived by his wife Dorothy and their six children, sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters; Carolyn Olsen, Diana Aston (Danny), and a brother-in-law Carlos Judkins.
The family would like to express deep appreciation for the tenderness and thoughtfulness of many doctors and nurses throughout Glen's fight with cancer. Also, a special thanks to friends and neighbors.

I'm afraid I didn't hear about your loss until just recently. Sadly, for years I've been meaning to see if I could contact in. He was an insipration and a great resource for Family History and Teample Work.

He will be missed.

Dear Dorothy,

Jinny and I were very sad to learn of Glen's passing. Glen and I had many good times together, both professionally at Litton and while out hunting. He was very creative and had such a sharp mind that while I was working with him he solved many problems before most people were aware that any problems even existed.

Glen was an altogether nice person, and it is one of the regrets I expressed to him when we ran into each other at Hill AFB many years ago that we were only involved in the same small world together for such a short time.

Jinny and I send our love and best wishes to you and your family.

Sincerely,

Kent

It's alway so hard to loose a family member.
Camille, It's been a long time since we were in the Mueller Park Ward together. I'm not sure what it is named now. I think of you often when thinking about serving in Primary together. You were the best. It's so hard to loose a Dad. Just keep the happy thoughts with you. I know that your Dad and your Mom were such great people and examples to all of you.
With warmest thoughts,
