Cody was so fun to listen to and sing while his headphone were in while riding the bus. I remember seeing him one time reading, I believe, Hannah Montana on the bus and I thought that was awesome. I will miss seeing his awesomness on the UTA bus.

A couple of weeks ago after Mike came home from dropping Jordan off to your house for Cody's birthday, he said to me, "you missed it!" I missed What? "The most incredible hug I have ever seen! Cody was waiting on the porch for us and when we pulled up he ran down to Jordan and they threw their arms around each other. They didn't break the embrace for quite a while. That is friendship! It just warms my heart that they are such good friends. It wasn't their normal hug, It was different. It was just so awesome!" He talked about it all night long and then several more times throughout the week. After we heard of Cody's passing, it hit me. That hug was goodbye. It was, I'm going home to get my grand prize! I did it! I did all the Lord asked me to do. I'll miss you but see you soon. I love you! We will miss Cody so much. I don't know how Jordan will celebrate his birthday. Cody is "who" he celebrates his birthday with. December can't be mentioned without Jordan saying "don't forget, Cody's birthday December." Every movie that comes out that Jordan wants to see. "Cody want see that with me. Can I?" I will miss Jordan saying, "Mom, Cody want you call him. He want hang out today. Can I?" I will miss his Opera singing, or him singing anything. I've always said that if he didn't have Down Syndrome, he would be a Opera singer or a Rock singer! I love the way he said my name, the way he said lemonade. That one will stick in our family forever. I'll miss his hugs. We will miss everything about him. Jordan will miss his best buddy. I wish I had dropped Jordan off that night for Cody's last birthday and to have seen that hug. Rosemann family, we love Cody and we love you! I pray for you every day that you will find comfort and peace, that the Lord will bless you with whatever you need to get through this difficult time.

I'm going to miss Elder Rosemann immensely. I had the honor of being greeted every day by Cody as "friend." I can't think of a higher honor than that. I will miss his smile and willingness to help the kids in my classroom when needed. He always looked sharp and dedicated. Cody will always be a reminder to me that perfect people do walk our planet, and he will always be in my memories.

There are no words we can offer adequate to comfort you now. We will just tell you we love you both. We can't imagine what you are going through. So hard to lose one child but the thought of losing another... Our hearts are breaking for you and your family. So glad to see you have so very many people praying for you and offering support. I know how much it strengthened us when we lost our Tonnie. We were especially grateful for the love and support we received from the two of you. You understood our grief in a way that only parents who had lost a child could and we are forever grateful. May God continue to bless you with his healing power physically and emotionally that you may fully regain your physical health and be able to bear the upcoming period of grief. May he bless you with peace and comfort and may you continue to be surrounded by loved ones in the weeks and months ahead. All our love, Sharon and Scott Bendoski.

Walt and Deb, We love Cody! He was a light at every party. We will never forget his cha, cha, cha, when we sang happy birthday. We won't forget his big bear hugs, his back rubs and his power rangers. We think offer about him dancing with Brooke on our family cruise and him giving Brooke a Korean Book of Mormon for her Birthday, little did we know that she would marry a returned missionary that served in Korea. He always talked about his mission that he loved. He also talked often about his sweet girl friend Shannel, he adored her. He always bore his testimony to our family, he always has such conviction and determination. I picture him the other night sitting on our couch not feeling good, that will be forever etched into my mind. Because it just wasn't normal for him he was always with his cousins spreading his light. We will miss Cody! You and your family are in our prayers at this very difficult time. We love you guys.

Cody was and is and always will be a lite in so many lives. He was pure and special in so many ways. Just being around him would make a person smile. I will remember the joy and all the memories our families had together. I know the trials were there for him but he did them with so much joy and care I can only hope that we will all learn so much from Cody. I know he is whole and with his father in heaven that is what I know that we can all strive to have. The life he had here on earth was a temporary one and Cody always made his moments count and make moments count for those around him. I will miss seeing his smile and receiving his warm hugs. I hope him and my sister will meet and know each other the way we have known him here on earth. I loved the person Cody is and I will miss him so much.

Elder Rosemann was a wonderful young man and missionary. I had the great blessing of visiting with him each day when he came to my classroom to take my students to seminary. He was dependable and so sweet and kind to my boys. I loved sharing a little treat with him for his service to our class. He always took two, one for himself and one for his friend. He will truly be missed at Kauri Sue. My prayers are with you at this time.

We loved Cody! What a light he was to everyone he met. We know that this must be so hard for everyone in the family and I don't pretend to know the pain that you feel. But I do know that Cody and Kade are having a wonderful reunion. I still remember him in special Olympics and how cute he was. You couldn't help but smile when he was around. I was one of Cody's scout masters from special needs mutual. One of the best times I remember was going on an over night scout camp with him and about 20 other special needs boys. None of the leaders got any sleep that night because the boys wouldn't go to sleep due to non stop singing, joking, teasing and more singing.
Also I use to love to watch him dance at all the dances we had at the church. He had much better dance moves than I did! HAHAHA it was so fun and a joy to know him as long as I did!
Much love,
Franz Andersen

Cody was a best friend to anyone who knew him. His spirit and testimony changed those who took the time to listen. His jokes made life lighthearted and fun. His personality was enough to win anyone over. He will be more than missed by friends, but his influence will shake the foundations on the other side as he will continue his mission and bless millions. I can only imagine having brothers as a companionship on the other side. My condolences to the Rosemann family, my family's prayers and thoughts are with you. God bless.

I was in Special Needs Seminary with Cody at Alta 2004-2005. His testimony always touched my heart. He surly knew more about the Lord's ways than He was willing to let Cody share. He came to my 18th birthday party and was the life of the party. We will miss him!
