Hans Tim Chadwick was born June 11, 1933 in American Fork, Utah and passed away at home on Jan. 5, 2014. His loving parents were Glen and Clara Butt Chadwick. He was the 7th of nine children.
He married his sweetheart of 60 years, Leila Brown of Parker, Idaho in the Salt Lake Temple on Sept. 29, 1953 before leaving for Korea where he served in the Army for 18 months. He spent his life creating new products and mills. He has installed his mills in Korea, Japan, Canada and the US. He served on the National Board of Cellulose Manufacturer of America. He had friends all over the world. He also ran a trucking company. His greatest love was to work with the youth of the LDS Church.
He is survived by his wife, Leila and four boys, Neal (Cheri) of Lehi, Charles (Miriam) and Norman (Tresa) of American Fork, Russell (Clare) of Pleasant Grove, 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, two brothers, Don of St. George and Clark of American Fork.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel on 100 East 300 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
