Charese Richins Foster Obituary
Charese Richins Foster
Sept. 26, 1979 ~ May 20, 2014
Charese Richins Foster passed away May 20, 2014 in Morgan, Utah following a heroic, two and a half year battle with breast cancer and all its complications.
Born September 26, 1979 in Murray, Utah to her extremely proud parents, Randy K. Richins and Chris Cole Richins. Charese grew up with her family in Murray, Utah. Where she met and made many lifelong friends while living there and attending Murray High School.
In 2001, Charese married her true love and the man that made her spirit whole, John Kenneth Foster. Later, in 2005 they sealed that bond for eternity in the Bountiful Temple. After starting their family in Bountiful, they moved to Morgan, Utah where they would establish some roots. It didn't take the social butterfly long to make new friends and embrace an entire community. Charese would say she was blessed to have the love and support of so many genuine people. She truly felt at home there. Together Charese and John have been raising a beautiful family. Charese loved to spend the majority of her time with John and the kids. She is an exceptional mother and role model for her kids. She will forever be their hero, as they have learned hard taught lessons and values that will guide them to grow through their young years and with the beliefs and values imprinted within them will become strong and amazing adults. When Charese was diagnosed with breast cancer she came to terms with it, and decided she would never give up and not to let the disease win. Although the cancer made her body finally give out, her spirit never did. Her body simply couldn't keep up with her spirit and her unrivaled will to live. Charese did win, she always faced every life and medical challenge with a smile on her face and fought with her every being. Her admiration for life, and all its goodness lives on as an inspiration and standard to be met by all of us. There are many that fell in love with her, following her courageous battle. She is such a great example in every way! When we see a butterfly we will know you are near and say "We miss you and we love you so much - TTFN!"
Charese leaves behind her inspirations and genuine reasons to survive: Her loving and supportive husband John, her beautifully amazing and proud children Landon (11), Logan (8), and Skylee (5). Her parents Randy and Chris Richins, four sisters, Bridget (Travis) Tanner, Cami Hilton, Collett (Ryan) Sjoblom, Crystal (Matt) Barclay, many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She also leaves behind an infinite list of friends and extended family that have shown love and support for such an extraordinary person.
A viewing will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm and Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 9:00-10:30 am preceding the service at the LDS Rock Chapel (10 W. Young St.) in Morgan, Utah. Interment will be at the Morgan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request a donation be made in Charese's name to Children and the Earth, Inc.
