Evan Lowry Obituary

2/1/40 ~ 10/13/14
Evan Kenneth Lowry, a good man, died peacefully at his home in Monticello, Utah after struggling with declining health. Evan was born in Manti, Utah to John Chesley and Betty Keller Lowry Anderson.
After graduating from Tooele High School, he enlisted in the Navy serving as a radioman in Alaska. He went to help his ailing father in his café after his discharge. He married Jackie Blackett and together raised their four daughters, Diana, Desiree, Tara and Tani (deceased) Lowry until Jackie's death in 1986. In 1992 he married Tanya B. Goodwine. Evan worked for the US Forest Service and San Juan County. He held many leadership positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, daughters, stepchildren, and grandchildren.
Our lives were enriched by his example.
