Our fun and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away September 5, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family after a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born September 25, 1957 in Provo, Utah to John Ray Cloward Jr. and Mern Ruth Brewerton. She married her sweet "Hubster" Alan Glade Christensen July 15, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a lifelong member of the LDS church. Vickie was creative in many ways. She enjoyed decorating her home, celebrating holidays, especially Christmas, and being with her family. She loved to make people laugh. She had the most immaculate house and had her own business cleaning others' homes.
Survived by her husband Alan of 38 years, her children Jessica (Jason) Bronson, Tina (Shannon) Beck, Scott (Lindi) Christensen; brother Kent (Katy) Cloward; sister Elaine (Tom) Pfaff, and her 13 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law; sister-in-law; and her sweet dog Mollie.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 11, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at West Jordan 66th Ward, 7511 South 2700 West. Viewings will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and prior to the service on Friday, 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, West Jordan Cemetery.

Dear Alan, Jessica, Tina and Scott
I'm am so sorry for your loss. Vickie was a wonderful neighbor. I will greatly miss our visits over the wall as we worked on our yards. I will never forget how sweet she was with Sadie. She thought of Vickie as her Aunt Vickie. We both enjoyed decorating for the holidays and even though her home always looked a little nicer, I will miss the friendly challenge. I will miss her.

Alan, we used to live down the street in West Jordan. This is Kathy Westwood. Sorry we won't make the funeral as we live in Iowa. I just saw that Vickie passed. I remember her with fondness. She really did love to decorate. In fact, I think she was the one with the projector for pics on the garage wall. I loved them! I have seen her posts here and there on Facebook since we moved. They always made me smile. Our prayers go out to you and your family for comfort and peace. We know where she is, but it's always hard to say goodbye! Love you all.
