1946 ~ 2016
Fred Chester Gailey, Born December 27, 1946. Loving husband, father, and grandfather returned home to his Heavenly Father on May 23, 2016 after a valiant fight from the complications caused by a ruptured brain aneurysm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 12:30pm at the Crescent Ridge Stake Center, 11000 South 1265 East. A viewing prior to the services will be held from 10:00am until Noon. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens,1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) Sandy following the services. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the Neuroscience Critical Care Unit at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, whose skills and compassion were much appreciated by his family. I will miss Fred and his friendship to me all these past years. We worked together at Utah Power and even had a car pool where three of us road to work for a couple of years together(Bob Chisholm, Fred and me). My best to you, his family at this hard time of your life. He was a great engineer, good and honest friend and I will miss him.

We will miss you Fred. Thank you for being so wonderful to all of my kids. Your home was always their second home. You were patient, kind, so generous and loving.

We will miss Fred's big smile, contagious laughter and special friendship. His optimism created an atmosphere of peace and goodwill in all who knew and loved him. His faith and generous spirit were an example and we feel so blessed with wonderful memories of Fred and the Gailey family. You are in our prayers. We love you!
