ARTHUR C. AGUILAR 10/6/1931 - 11/26/2013 Arthur C. Aguilar, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013, in his home with his wife Eleanor by his side. No services as this time. Donations to Victor Valley Hospice in his memory would be appreciated. They provided wonderful care and support and it was very much appreciated. Arthur was born Oct. 6, 1931, in San Bernardino, CA. Arthur was the son of Fulgencio and Carmen Aguilar. He began his career with Santa Fe Railroad in 1951 and married Eleanor Solorio in 1953. He remained with the Company until his retirement in 1994. After retirement, they moved from San Bernardino to Hesperia. He was very proud of his long career with the railroad. He was a dedicated fan and followed his favorite teams, the LA Dodgers and the Miami Heat. He also traveled with his family and enjoyed his cruises, and playing at the various casinos. The family has many memories on the waters of the Caribbean, the Hawaiian Islands, and the other vacations Dad so enjoyed. Most memorable of all, was renewing his wedding vows on their 50th anniversary in 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his daughter Donna. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace Dad, you will be forever in our hearts. SURVIVORS: His wife Eleanor; Daughters - Diana and Debra; Sons - Arthur, Jr. (Stoney) and Steven; eight grandchildren; and 3 great grandsons.
