Kreienbrink, Jack Bernard  
Jack Bernard Kreienbrink June 24, 1939 - August 2, 2015 Jack Bernard Kreienbrink went to be with our Lord on August 2nd, 2015. His service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Temple, TX on Saturday, August 8th at 4:00 PM. Viewing is from 2:00-4:00 PM at the church. Jack was born on June 24th, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI to Harry and Minnie (Kolbe) Kreienbrink. He grew up in Wabeno, WI, working on the family's farm with his brother, Gene. After graduating high school, Jack attended a trade school where he learned the crafts of tool & die making and machining. He married Suzanne Vahl on July 23rd, 1960. Jack worked at numerous manufacturing companies in the Milwaukee area and was employed for almost 20 years at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, CA. After retirement, he and Suzie moved to Temple, TX. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Minnie. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his brother, Gene (Marjorie) of Mequon, WI; his brother-in-law Kenneth (Helen) Vahl of Port Washington, WI; his four children David (Jodi) of Spanaway, WA; Wendy (Michael) Walker of New Braunfels, TX; Thomas (Sue) of Phoenix, AZ; and Marc (Virginia) Kreienbrink of Edmond, OK. He was also blessed with ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2016 Marlandwood Rd, Temple, TX 76502.

Lucas, Kevin Jerome  
Kevin Jerome Lucas August 10, 1963 - July 13, 2015 Kevin Jerome Lucas was born on August 10, 1963 to John and Nevella Lucas in Sacramento, CA. His life touched many and will always be remembered as a caring soul. He is predeceased by his father, John H. Lucas and is survived by his wife Claudia Lucas of Alabama; step-daughter Latesha Buchanan of Alabama; his mother Nevella M. Lucas of California; brothers Curtis Lucas of California, Greg Towler (Angela) of Washington DC, John Lucas (Tina) of California and Reginald Lucas (Kathy) of California; sisters Mia Young (Scott) of Washington and Erica Lucas of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Spirit Filled Family Church, 9980 Hesperia Rd., Hesperia at 11am Tuesday, August 4th with a repass to follow.

Lucia, Floyd Joseph (Joe)  
Major Floyd Joseph (Joe) Lucia, USAF Ret. March 25, 1933 - August 19, 2015 Beloved dad and granddad, Floyd Joseph "Joe" Lucia passed away August 19, 2015, after a years' long battle with squamous cell carcinoma. Born in Akron Ohio on March 25, 1933, Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Vera ("Wilhelmina") Lucia; his brothers Daniel, Delbert, Lemuel, and Louis; his ex-wife and sometimes best friend Nancy; and his infant daughter Jana Ann. He is survived by his children Floyd J. Lucia II, Louis Lucia, Theresa Lucia, Samuel Lucia and Gerald Lucia; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, too numerous to list here. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Victor Valley Mortuary, 15609 11th Street, Victorville; graveside service and interment to follow, Avenue of the Flags.

Mann, Bobby E.  
Bobby E. Mann Bob Mann, age 86, passed away August 6, 2015, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Texas, raised in the San Joaquin Valley and the High Desert. He resided in the High Desert over 75 years. Bob worked at the local cement plants, Oro Grande, Southwest, and Kaiser. He started out as a laborer; finishing as a maintenance supervisor. Following his retirement, he continued with his own business as a millwright contractor. Wife Patsy preceded him in death. He is survived by his children John (Ruth), Debbie and Carol. Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Uncle to many. He was known for his work ethic and his caring attitude for those he worked with. Bob was a fan of NASCAR and boxing. There will be no funeral service.

Martin, Gerald T.  
Gerald T. Martin February 28, 1958 - July 22, 2015 Gerald T. Martin, 57, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015. Gerry was born on February 28th, 1958 in Colorado and he resided in California most of his life. In order to be closer to his children and grandchildren, he later moved to Arizona. He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Lynette; daughter Heidi Burch; sons, Clinton and Vincent Martin; grandchildren, Maycen and Kaylen Myers; sister Patricia Boone and her husband Tim, sister Marion Drinnin; brother, John Martin and his wife Peggy, and brother Kenneth Martin. Gerry also leaves behind many loved in-laws, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends too numerous to name. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Regina Martin. A Memorial service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Rd., Apple Valley, CA on Saturday, August 15th at 1:30 pm. Reception immediately following at the home of Darlene Wilson, 22630 Cuyama Rd., Apple Valley, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on his behalf to Feed My Starving Children.

McDonald, Joyce Mae "Joy" (Sanders)  
Joyce Mae Sanders McDonald May 21, 1927 - August 14, 2015 Joy McDonald, a longtime Apple Valley resident, passed away the evening of August 14, 2015. She is survived by her two sons, Doug (Alice) McDonald and Steve (Kim) McDonald. She had 7 grandchildren, Matt (Deanna) McDonald, Kim (John) Hanley, Becka (Josh) Long, Cassie (Elias) Illerenas, Amy (Dan) Alexander, Jesse (Brooke) McDonald, Katie (Jared) Rivera and 19 great-gandchildren. She was one of five children born to Frank and Grace Sanders in Ramsey, Illinois. Joy retired to the Apple Valley area after 30+ years in El Segundo, California. She truly had a servant's heart and was actively involved in her neighborhood and church. She recently moved to Texas to be with her family. Services are to be held August 29th in McKinney, Texas at 5:00pm and a graveside September 12th in Ramsey, Illinois at 10:30am.

Moen, Verna Jean  
Verna Jean Moen July 31, 1926 - August 7, 2015 Verna Jean Moen, born in Santa Ana, California on July 31, 1926 to Guy Neifert and Agnes Arvilla Hamilton-Neifert. Married to Carl A. Moen for 69 years. Loving mother of four children: Ted, Barney, Cheryl and Laurie. She is a beloved grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Jean Moen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her entire family and will forever be remembered as our "Granny". A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 beginning at 10:00 am at Victor Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary, 15609 11th St., Victorville, California 92395 in her remembrance.

Noe, Agatha (Ada)  
Agatha (Ada) Noe September 12, 1928 - July 12, 2015 Ada Noe, 86, was born to Anton and Tryntje Peys of Assendelft, the Netherlands. She was a longtime resident of Spring Valley Lake in Victorville, CA. She had recently moved from Victorville to Brea, CA to be closer to her son Pete. Ada came to the United States in 1955 with her husband, Ben, and her two sons, Tony and Pete. During the 1960s, she and Ben owned an egg ranch in Bloomington, CA. In the 1970s, they first owned/operated the Covered Wagon Motel in Buena Park, CA and later raised chickens in Ceres, CA. After retiring, they built a house in Spring Valley Lake and traveled throughout the Western states. Ada enjoyed sewing and needlepoint. After Ben passed away in 2001, she continued to live in Victorville, where she had many friends. Sons Tony and Pete, their wives Beverly and Kathie, three granddaughters Kylee, Kate, and Alison, and great-grandson Kaden survive her.

Richard (Rich) Parsons Aug. 25, 1953 - July 25, 2015 Richard (Rich) Parsons, born Aug. 25, 1953 in Long Beach, CA, died July 25, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ as a result from complications due to a motorcycle accident. He is survived by his 4 children: Richie of NV, Christy of CA, Rick of CA, Tawney of CA; and his sister Jeanine of GA. He was loved and respected by all that knew him and will be dearly missed. Now he can ride all the time and watch over all of us.

Eileen Frances Petersen March 8, 1924 - August 8, 2015 Eileen Frances Petersen, age 91, of Hesperia, CA, died at Desert Valley Hospital on Saturday, August 8, 2015, of natural causes. She was born March 8, 1924, in Odessa Township, SD, to the late Henry and Alvin Schubert. She was married to her late husband, Henry Leander (Lee) Petersen on June 20, 1947 in Culver City, CA. Eileen is survived by six of her seven children; Ralph, Janice, Cathie, Brad, Greg, and David, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. A memorial service for Eileen will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 31, at High Desert Church, 14545 Hook Blvd., Victorville, CA. Pastor Tim Wheeler will officiate.
