MILLIE LaCHANCE

MILLIE LaCHANCE Age 83 We regret to inform you of the death of Millie LaChance. She passed away suddenly December 21st following a brief illness. Millie retired to the High Desert in 1984 with her husband Army following a long career in telecommunications management. Millie was actively involved in several charitable and civic organizations such as the Lone Wolf Colony, the Mojave Desert Zoological foundation, as well as being a founding member of the Desert Valley Hospital Auxiliary and the Apple Valley Senior Citizens club where she and Army managed the weekly movies for many years. She enjoyed spending time with friends, playing cards, bowling, gardening, and playing horseshoes with the Apple Valley Horseshoe Club as well as maintaining an active interest in the continued development of the High Desert community that she loved. Millie's sharp wit, sense of humor, and concern for others will be missed by all. Millie is survived by her three children, Linda, Cindy, and Paul. She has five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Millie's wish was that there were no services but a memorial will be planned for a later date.
