PAUL LLOYD KNISLEY Paul Lloyd Knisley passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013, at the age of 65 after suffering a massive heart attack. He was born Sept. 19, 1947 in Carrollton, Illinois to Elmer Paul Knisley and Evelyn Mae Brooks. He was raised in Greenfield, Illinois along with 6 younger siblings. This beloved husband, father, brother, and friend is survived by his wife Lola May Smith Knisley of Victorville; his daughters Jean Weber of Mesa, Arizona, Ruth and Leah Knisley of Victorville; and his son Scott Knisley of Barstow and three grandchildren, Harley Knisley, Rosalind Weber, and Walter Weber. He is also survived by 2 brothers (George and Regis Knisley) and 2 sisters (Dorothy "Skip" Riggs and Patricia "Patty" Knisley) along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Douglas Paul Knisley, his parents, one brother (Michael "Mike" Knisley), and one sister (Mary Knisley). Paul joined the Air Force after high school and served his country for 26 years all around the world. He has been a resident of Victorville, CA since 1987. He retired from the Air Force in 1991. He continued working and volunteering until he was slowed down by a stroke in 2000. Family, friends and church were very important to him. Some of his favorite things were cooking, being a Boy Scout merit badge councilor, reading and visiting with family and friends. He was hardworking, outgoing, honest and well-loved. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbors and all who knew him. We know he has moved on to a place of peace and rest. Services for Paul will be held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 12100 Ridgecrest, Victorville, CA 92394. A viewing will be held from 10-10:45 am. Services will begin at 11:00 followed by interment at Victor Valley Memorial Park, 15609 11th Street, Victorville, CA.
