ROBERT GREINER

ROBERT GREINER 1/3/1933 - 10/17/2013 Robert Greiner, age 80, died October 17, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers. Bob was born to John and Estelle Greiner on January 3, 2013 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the third of four children. He fulfilled his lifetime dream of owning a dealership when he opened Greiner Pontiac-Buick which is now Greiner Buick GMC. But his greatest joy was his family. We will always remember him as a hard working, dedicated, loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a man of great strength and many interests, hunting, fishing, golfing and riding motorcycles. During 42 years of marriage he and his family traveled throughout the United States and Europe, cruised through the Caribbean and the Greek Islands. And let us never forget the motorcycle trips throughout Europe. It was a life full of adventure and laughter. Wonderful memories to cherish as we continue our lives without him. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Christine and 6 children. Tony, (Valerie) Greiner of Plymouth, Michigan; Linda, (John) Saunier) of Lexington, Kentucky; Tracy Knapp of Austin Texas; Scott Greiner of Lexington, Kentucky; Kelly Greiner of Lexington, Kentucky and David, (Alison) Greiner of Apple Valley, CA.; his sister Joan, (Hal) Cooper of Bonita Springs, Florida and six grandchildren Nicole, Jon Christian, Alex, Chas, Abigail and Torrey and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Estelle Greiner, brother, John and sister Mary Calder. Visitation will be at Sunset Hills Mortuary on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 3:00-8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 10:00am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, 13220 El Evado, Victorville, CA. with Fr. Pat Travers officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Donations can be made to the Lord's Table, 15512 Sixth Street, Victorville, Ca 92392 or the Sunset Hills Children's Foundation, 24000 Waalew Rd., Apple Valley, CA 92307.
