Robert Ray Parker

Robert Ray Parker "RP" 12/3/1957 - 8/9/2013 Born in Olympia, WA to Shirley and Bob Parker. He loved all adventures, heading off to Mead View, Alaska or Mazatlan. Fishing anywhere there was water. Boating, clam digging - hitting the sand dunes; and in his younger days, an avid hunter. He loved camping and the great outdoors. To him, the best thing in life was sitting around a campfire, good friends, cold beer and 3 bean stew. He was a master of all trades, with concrete work being his specialty, having a showcase of his masterpieces all over the Puget Sound. He left us way too soon but will be in our hearts forever. He had a voice & laughter all his own, and at least we're left with a lot of great memories and stories to tell. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Theresa, sister Sandy (Dave) Bigelow; Skull Valley, AZ; brother Ron; Olympia, WA; children Jesse & Shani Parker; stepchildren Christopher (Christina), Cassandra & Richard Valenti; faithful companion & fishing buddy "Moondoggie" and many, many friends he thought of as family. As per his wishes, his ashes will be scattered on Comp. Hill, Dumont Dunes, CA and on the Puget Sound, WA, at later dates. I'll be looking for the brightest star at night to blow you a kiss goodnight, and wonder why we didn't get a chance to grow old together. Thank you for all the memories that no one can take away from me. Until we meet again, just know I'll always be loving you.
