KEITH THOMAS MOYER 9/10/1971 - 4/13/2014 Keith Moyer was known and respected by many in the community. He came to live in Hesperia in 1978 with his family at the age of 7, and graduated from Hesperia High School in 1989. He acquired his BS from CSUSB driving his 1963 VW single cab bus (the Chick Magnet) up and down the hill, where he continued to gain life-long friendships. Keith was employed at Desert Valley Hospital for 14 years as a computer technician where he continued his pattern of establishing close relationships. Knowing Keith for even a fraction of his 42 years, was to recognize his enthusiasm for life, playful personality, and respect his heroic determination to live life representative of his faith, courage, and deep love for his son, Kameron and daughters Jamie, and Kristin. Keith's life was cut short by a brain tumor (GBM) which he valiantly battled for 10 years. He won the battle against GBM on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at UC Irvine Medical Center where his spirit was set free and simultaneously found his health, passing peacefully. His son, Kameron, daughters Jamie Sasse and Kristin Wentworth, mom and dad Doris and Warren Moyer, brother, Eric Moyer (Tracy), sisters, Kim Cutman (Don) and Danise Moyer, grandchildren, Brock, Liam, and Riley, and numerous nieces and nephews celebrate their love for him with the precious memories he left behind for them to treasure. Keith's family, friends, and coworkers will miss his fun-loving zest for life, strong loyalty toward family and friends, and genuine smart-alecky smile. Keith's support and involvement for Relay For Life was admirable. His wish was to help others like him, by donating to St. Judes Hospital for Children to benefit children with brain cancer, in lieu of flowers. We will celebrate Keith's life at the Hesperia United Methodist Church at 18623 Main St in Hesperia, on May 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Marcos. Reception to follow.
