RONALD "POPPY" LEWMAN Ronald Clarence Lewman, born January 2, 1939 in Ontario, CA went to be with the Lord, passing away peacefully at his home in Hesperia on February 26, 2013 at the age of 74 after battling cancer. He married his wife Janet on December 1, 1962 and they were married 50 years at the time of his passing. They raised 4 children together. He worked for the City of Hesperia as a Building Inspector for 18 years until retiring. He loved going deep sea fishing and on his last trip out he won the "pot" by catching the largest fish. He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Garten of Apple Valley, a daughter, Kim Watson of Junction City, OR, a son, Mark Lewman and his wife Marcy of Cottage Grove, OR, a son, Steve Lewman of Hesperia, CA. Survivors also include 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Per Poppy's wishes, he will be cremated with no service or memorial.
