WILLIAM ROBERT (BOB) QUINTARD 5/9/1944 - 1/27/2014 Bob Quintard, 69, of Apple Valley passed suddenly on Jan. 27, 2014 of an abdominal anuerism at Desert Valley Hospital. Bob was born in Walla Walla, Washington. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Susan Quintard. His son Brian Quintard wife Camille of Apple Valley. His Daughter Kacey Lopez husband Louie of Hesperia. He was known as 'Pa' to his three grandsons Noah Lopez, Zachary Lopez, and Colby Quintard. Whom he loved as much as they loved him. Bob was most recently the owner of QMF Properties Inc. and construction co. He is a retired Lieutenant from the San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department, where he served proudly for 29 years. Prior to joining the sheriffs department he served 6 years with the Marine Corps, serving 3 tours in Vietnam with the Marine Corps 4th Force Reconnaissance and achieved the rank of Chief Warrant officer four. Bob spent many years coaching numerous kids in baseball and softball for Apple Valley Little League and youth football. His love for his family and the community in youth sports kept him busy into his retirement where he enjoyed many vacations with his family. Services will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park on 02/04/2014 at 1:00. Sunset Hills is located at 24000 Waalew Rd. Apple Valley Ca. Gravesite services will follow. It is with the deepest of sadness that we say so long, until we meet again.
