Ray Freeman
Ray N. Freeman, 83, passed away 6 a.m., on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Ray was born March 1, 1928, in central Oklahoma. He moved to California in 1950, where he raised his family. He retired in Barstow after 38 years with the Santa Fe Railroad. He was a longtime member of the Barstow Elks Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Hiram and Lillie Freeman; and two brothers, Utah and J.W. Freeman.
Survivors are his wife, Jean Freeman; daughters, Andrea Love-Hight and husband, Nick, of Saginaw, Cheri Magorno and husband, Ray, of Barstow, Calif., Amber Kelley and husband, Bob, of Roseburg, Ore.; son, Doug Freeman and wife, Allison, of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Aaron Freeman; and sister, Alice Bacon.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, April 29, 2011at Greenwood Funeral Home, Fort Worth, Texas. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m., on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery in Apache, Okla.
