FLOYD D RYAN On Wednesday March 20, 2013 God commissed an angel to escort Mr. Floyd Ryan to his heavenly rest. He quietly passed away with his wife by his side in their home. Floyd was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to his parents Frank and Celestle Ryan. Floyd moved to Northern California at an early age, he graduated in 1955 from Richmond High School. He also attended Contra Costa College in San Pablo. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and received an Honorable Discharge. Floyd owned and operated two successful retirement homes in Northern California. He was employed by Pacific Maritime Association for over 20 years. In the early 90's the family moved to Victorville, California where he united with the Emmanuel C.M.E. Church. Floyed was a faithful, dedicated and tithing member. He continued his fellowship until recently when his health did not permit. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories of his wife of 53 years, Jonnie, 2 daughters, Adelaide Willis, Adline Akogyram, 3 nieces, Tori Russell, Deserae & Denise Kimbell and a host of nieces, nephews and cherished friends. Service was held at Emmanuel Temple C.M.E. Church at 17288 Stoddard Wells Road in Victorville. Pastor James E Markham officiated.
