SANDRA C WILLIAMSON Sandra Williamson born on 2/20/43 passed away the evening of 3/14/13, 70 years young, with her husband and two of her three children by her side. She was diagnosed with a fast spreading stomach cancer on 2/13/13 despite having lead a healthy lifestyle. Sandy spent most of her childhood living in Lakewood, CA and lived around the country as an adult. Although she spent the past 29 years living in Hesperia she always considered Big Bear her home. Sandy was a strong Seventh-day Adventist and, among other contributions to the SDA church, she helped found the Hesperia SDA church in 1988. She was head elder, children's Sabbath school teacher, and many other rolls in the church when she died. Sandy retired from San Bernardino County Animal Control in September 2012 after 18 years of enjoying the people she worked with. She loved animals of every kind, she loved God, and she loved her family. She loved and enriched the lives of everyone she met including those she met in her last few weeks. She wanted to witness for God and Jesus until the end. She is survived by her high school sweet heart and husband Jim, a marriage lasting a lifetime, 37 days shy of 52 years. She is also survived by her three children James, John, and Suzan, her grandson Kendall, and her brother Tom. The celebration of Sandy's life will be held at the Hesperia SDA church on Saturday April 6 at 2pm.
