Ron was a special man, whom I often called "Grandpa Ron". Working outside at Prairie Meadows, he would often walk by saying, "Cam, I'm going inside, do you need anything?" A recent memory of him is when I brought my 7 year old niece to the paddock to meet "Grandpa Ron", and he gave her a pair of white jockey goggles, that just so happened to match her outfit. She loved them and wore them all night! You will truly be missed! My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Ron was an incredible man. Working with him at Prairie Meadows he was always happy even on those hot miserable days. He knew everyone who walked threw that gate & was so good to the kids. He will be truly missed by many. God bless the family & I hope to see Ron in the paddock in the heavens.
