I am so sorry for your loss. I cut Robs hair for 32 years, and always thought of him as a great friend. He had a huge heart, and always put a smile on our faces when he walked in the door. He loved his family, and this family from Johns Barber shop will forever miss him. RIP Rob.

His booming voice heard echoing down the hall
Will be sorely missed by us, yes by one and all
Saying, “Where is Samuel, there is something he needs to know…
Or”I've got to go get “Bam Bam “so boys I've got to go…
He always had just the thing that could get the job done
And he never seemed to forget that work is partly fun
You didn't park in his spot or he would nearly tan your hide
And try borrowing his tools if you really want to see him fried!
But it was all in good fun he was loved by everyone
And he treated all of us like his most favorite son
He taught us how to work and how to get things done
He left us better than he found us though missed by everyone
He could drive a truck, shoot a buck and catch a fish,
He could fix your anything, to help you was his wish
He had a thing for keys a big key ring on his side
And codes and passwords he loved to memorize
Whenever we were locked out he always got us in
When we thought we may be losing, he found a way to make us win
If you ever had done anything that you thought made quite a tale
He had done the same thing twice but it had been quite a spell
In fact it usually had been long before you were even born
You never had a thing on him he'd seen it all before
He kept our driveway clear of all that nasty snow
He had the buildings all unlocked before the suns first glow
Yes Rob was a hard worker, a teacher and a friend
And it just seems way too sad that it all had to end.

Rob was a close friend to my husband, Greg from as far back as the early 70's. He became my friend as well. Rob would wander into Smitty's on a regular basis, get his usual onion ring and chat with everyone. Greg just had a great talk with Rob on Saturday. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Rob…a wonderful friend!

Rob was a leader and my mentor at Holt, hands down one of the best people I've ever known, everything I do today I've spent countless hours learning from him every day for the past 7years! He became a great friend and a highly respected person to me and our co-workers! You will be remembered and missed forever! Thanks for the memories we spent in the semi and for teaching me how to drive the big truck! Rest in peace and I'll keep on rolling for you Rob!
