Jacklyn R. Summers 53 passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, November 16, 2012. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church located at 3600 75th Street in Urbandale. A luncheon will follow the service and burial will be private at a later date.
Jacklyn was born on October 5, 1959 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Willard and Geraldine (Jennett) Lawrence.
She worked for CMF&Z for 15 years and Drake University for 7. Recently, Jaquie had given her heart and charity to Mission Navajo through Prairie Ridge Church in Ankeny. Jacklyn is survived by her husband Dan; sons, R.D (Jamie) Summers, Chris (Megan) Summers, Nate (Honey) Summers; daughter Melissa (Jared) Clark; brothers, Doug (Ann) Lawrence, John Dahlen; sisters, Eileen Hawkinson, Sara (Craig) Edwards, Mary Dahlen; eight grandchildren; Cash, Paisley, Brayden, Landon, Preston, Paxton, Peyton, and Tahlia; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Jr. And Geraldine Lawrence; step father, John Dahlen; and grandson, Gavin Summers.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Global Cafe-Mission Navajo C/O Prairie Ridge Church. 825 N.W. 36th Street, Ankeny, Iowa 50023.

I wish I was eloquent enough to say something profound that could comfort you now, but I know I can't. I lost my Mother and Brother this year, and I will ask them to watch over Jacklyn until we are all together again. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
