Martin, Sue - Golden, Co  
Sue Martin Golden, CO Sue Ann Martin, 71, of Golden, Co., formerly of Des Moines, died May 11, 2016, at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood. A Celebration of Life service was held May 14 at Aspen Memorial Chapel in Lakewood. Sue was born July 20, 1944, in Des Moines, the daughter of F.M. and Anne (Margerum) Wonderlin. She went to St. Augustin Catholic School and graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1962. After attending Duchesne College in Omaha, Neb., Sue married Charley Martin, partner in "Hal and Charley" on KHOW in Denver, and had three sons: Kyle, Brian, and Joshua. The couple later divorced. Sue is survived by her sons Kyle (Amy) Martin of Grinnell and Brian Martin of Ames, granddaughters Peyton Martin, Abby Martin, and Grace Ann Martin, brothers Richard (Carol) Wonderlin of Ankeny, and Mark (Ellen) Wonderlin and Tom (Connie White) Wonderlin of Des Moines, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Joshua Martin on Dec. 25, 2014. Sue was a free spirit who lived her life accordingly. She will be greatly missed. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.

Karen L. McCombs Indianola Memorial services for Karen Lee McCombs, 76, who passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Mercy Hospice, Johnston, IA will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 4 at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola. Visitation will be held 9 to 11 a.m. prior to services at the church. Survivors include her children, Kevin (Melanie) McCombs of Indianola and Lori (Eric) Jeppson of Stoughton, WI; grandchildren, Andy McCombs, Amanda (Austin) Smith, Addison (Chris) McCombs, Jessica and Ellie McCombs, Gunnar (Amanda) and Thor (Keely) Jeppson and Kristin Jeppson; great-granddaughter, Rylee Smith; sisters, Phyllis (Bill) Carlton and Cheryl (Carlos) Paugh; sister-in-law, Elaine (Chuck) Lindstrom and many nieces and nephews. Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, parents Kenneth and Jewel Surbaugh and a brother-in-law Bill Carlton. Memorials may be given to Trinity United Presbyterian Church in her name. Pat Meyer Des Moines Pat Meyer passed at 77 years old surrounded by family and friends. She was born to Wallace and Velma Wedlund on November 17, 1938. She is survived by her husband, Larry Meyer; 3 children, Tim, Tracy and Trent Cosner; 5 grandchildren, Josh (Crista) Cosner, Jessica Cosner, Tayler (Jordan) Peterson, Katie Cosner and Amanda Cosner; 4 great-grandchildren, AJ, Melody and Carter Cosner and Jayden Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 27 at 12:00 p.m. at Iles Grandview Park Chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 26. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
