Ervin Lee Horn, 85, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2013 at Taylor House Hospice surrounded by friends and family. He was born February 16, 1928 to Frank and Martha (Timm) Horn. Ervin proudly served his country during the Korean War
(U. S. Army). Later, he worked at Firestone Rubber Company where he retired after 37 years.
He was a former member of Peace Lutheran Church. He loved bowling, fishing and playing cards with friends and family.
Ervin is survived by his son, Paul (Kelly) Horn of Camden, S.C.; daughter, Peggy Sue (David) Rice; three grandchildren: Scott, Katie and Kyle; four brothers, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday, May 29th at Brooks South Town Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, with the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial with military honors will be at Pleasantville Cemetery. Take Highway 5 to Pleasantville, left on G40.
