Nadine E. Hall, 90, passed away December 5, 2012 at Mill Pond retirement community, in Ankeny, Iowa.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, December 9 from 2 to 4 at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home ( 4208 North Ankeny Blvd).
She was born in rural Polk County on July 7, 1922 and lived most of her life in Ankeny, Iowa.
Nadine was united in marriage to Cleo B. Hall on September 13, 1940. They were married 62 years.
She retired from the Civil Department of the Polk County Sheriff's Office after many years of service.
Nadine enjoyed her retirement and wintering in Mesa, AZ. She loved gardening, crocheting and playing golf.
She is survived by two sons; Lynn A Hall and Jack B. Hall of Ankeny, IA, a daughter, Jo Dee Eppert of Ankeny, IA , seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Audrey Cooper of Des Moines, IA, and many beloved family and friends.
Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo, her brothers; Willis Albaugh and Robert Albaugh, and her parents Claude Albaugh and Bernice Albaugh Bennett.
It was Nadine's wish to be cremated, and a private burial of the cremated remains will be held at a later date at Ankeny Memorial Gardens.
