Phyllis L. Franklin, 91, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Community Care Center in Stuart.

Phyllis was born January 6, 1921 in Des Moines to Lewis and Juanita (Densmore) Boger. She was a waitress for Gustaveson's Restaurant until her retirement in 1983.

Phyllis is survived by her children, William (Roxie) Franklin, Judith (Keith) Jorgensen, Patrick (Patsy) Franklin and Pamela (John) Ogg; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ivan L. Franklin; husband, Ivan W. Franklin; and her brother, Robert "Larry" Boger.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
