Rosemary F. Kirchgatter Allinson was born to Will and Mabel (Ditto) Kirchgatter on June 6, 1922 in Grafton,Ia. She passed away on December 3, 2013 at the age of 91 at the Waterford at Woodbridge facility in Plattsmouth,Ne.

Rosemary graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1940. She married Clinton M. Allinson on November 23, 1942 in Princeton,Mo. They were married for 59 years. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Will and Mabel Kirchgatter, husband Clinton M. Allinson, brother, Robert Kirchgatter and sister, Jean Ann Fridlington.

Rosemary is survived by daughters, Virginia (Michael) Peterson of Des Moines,Ia and Nancy (James) Mauk of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, five grandchildren, Tracy, Shaun, Courtnay, Bryan and Mindy, eight great grandchildren Maxwell, Melena, Morgan, Kila, Madison, Evelyn, Tiernan, and Taylor. She is also survived by sisters, Margaret Daleske of Reeds Springs, Missouri, Carol Whiteis of Forest City,Iowa, Delores Frame and Judith Powell of Arizona as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosemary was handy with a sewing machine and crafts, she repaired many garments for her grandchildren as they were growing up. Garage sales, auctions, photography and fishing were also her favorite past times.

The family wishes to thank Waterford at Woodbridge and Pathways to Compassion Hospice for their care and concern for Rosemary during the last days of her life.

Rosemary has been cremated. Rosemary and her husband Clinton will be buried together at Resthaven Cemetary, Des Moines,Iowa at a date to be announced later.
